Travel in the smallest group size with FNQ Nature Tours to the "Oldest Rainforest on Earth", with the only company offering the longest walk on this style of tour which is 4.5 kilometres.  Travelling with a maximum of only 7 passenghers (min 2 required for tour to operate).  This nature walk will increase your chance of seeing wildlife in their native environment. The owner/operator is passionate about what they offer and have been recognised by Tourism Queensland and Australian Wildlife Journeys for their efforts to improve the quality of wildlife interactions for guests on their tour.

  • Cape Tribulation beach the world famous location where 2 World Heritage Listed areas meet
  • Sunset viewing over Mt Sorrow
  • Have a sumptuous dinner in the heart of the rainforest at Whet Restaurant
  • After dinner head into the rainforest to experience a guided night walk to spot noctural animals active in their native habitant at their 'awake time. You will never experience this on a tour by day
  • Spotlights provided for night spotting of animals

Personalisation - Our groups are small, amplifying the quality of our nature and wildlife interaction.
Eco-friendly - We cruise with a solar electric boat operator. The vessel is quiet and a completely clean and green machine. Perfect for wildlife spotting!
Afternoon advantages - We are heading IN to the National Park when other operators are heading OUT! Our late finish affords us peaceful trails and empty beaches. Observe what we casually call, the ‘shift swap'. Animals that are active during the day become more excitable at dusk, right as the nocturnal creatures come out to play!
Nocturnal component - Very few visitors to the area have the option to go into the "Oldest continually growing rainforest in the world, at night!"

WE SUPPLY • Umbrellas • On board library • Vehicle Binoculars • Torches (spotlights) for evening walk • Afternoon tea and dinner

Important Note: Minimum of 2 and maximum of 7 passengers to depart

Things to Bring: Camera, comfortable clothing/footwear, water bottle, insect repellent, sunscreen, rain coat/umbrella (if it's a rainy day)

** Tour is not suitable for children under 14 years of age
