Reef Tour - Reef Magic

Reef Magic is the only locally owned pontoon Company in the region and takes the smallest number of passengers out of all the pontoon trips to the reef daily. They are licenced to carry 300 passengers but cap their numbers at only 190, which ensures unmatched space and comfort on their platform.

A fantastic day on the Great Barrier Reef, suitable for all types of people with different requirements, especially good for groups and families with younger children or nervous/non swimmers.  Marine World Pontoon is situated on the Eastern end of Moore Reef and is a purpose built double story platform featuring a spacious lower deck with ample undercover seating, an upper sundeck with sun lounges, lockers, fresh water showers and change rooms.

This company offers the most amount of time at the pontoon, a total of five (5) hours. A large twin hulled catamaran travels to the Outer Reef in 90 minutes and moores against a fixed pontoon.  From the pontoon there is easy access into the water that has a large roped off snorkelling area with rest stations to hang on to.  Upon arrival at Marine World you will be provided with quality snorkelling equipment and the friendly crew are there to assist you and free snorkel lessons are available for those with little or no experience.  The snorkel site is well supervised and swimming aids and flotation devices are available to help you enjoy exploring the magic of the Great Barrier Reef.  A kids safety swimming enclosure is available for little ones to experience fish swimming between their legs and the joy of their first 'Nemo' encounter.

This pontoon offers a glass bottom boat and semi submersible, guided snorkel tours, certified diving, introductory diving, massage treatments, helicopter tours and helmet diving. After lunch you can photograph or video the fish feeding session or you may want to enjoy the excitement of being in the water and having the fish swim around you to get to their food whist your friends or family capture the moment.

The journey out and in includes morning and afternoon tea comprising of tea, coffee, water and biscuits or cakes. At the pontoon a hot and cold buffet lunch is provided including a mix of salads, cold meats, breads, fruit platters and condiments.

Kuranda Rainforest Tour - Return bus transfers included

Visit the very popular Kuranda Rainforest, travelling via the Skyrail Cableway and Kuranda Scenic Train. This tour includes the Army Duck Rainforest Tour which is a 6 wheel amphibious vehicle, Pamagirri Aboriginal dance show and Dreamtime Walk, Koala and Wildlife Park, Tropical BBQ Lunch and Kuranda Village Center. Kuranda Village

Kuranda is the "village in the rainforest".  The village boasts numerous attractions, art galleries, cafes and the famous Kuranda Markets.  Entry into the Butterfly Sanctuary is included.

Skyrail Cableway

Skyrail is a 7.5km cableway journey through World Heritage Rainforest.  Skyrail takes up to 1.5 hours to complete; this includes spending up to 20 minutes at each of the two mid-stations.  Red Peak Station provides a 175m boardwalk through the lush tropical rainforest.  Barron Falls Station provides lookouts over the Barron Gorge and the mighty Barron Falls which are 260 meters tall.

Kuranda Scenic Train

Experience the scenic Kuranda trail in the old charm of the refurbished original heritage railway carriages.  Learn about the history of the railway - officially opened in 1891 to serve the bustling gold fields, the railway includes 15 hand-made tunnels, 55 bridges and 98 curves.  The train journey takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes which includes a 10 minute stop at the Barron Falls station for a spectacular view of the dramatic Barron Falls.

Army Duck Tour

Experience the tropical rainforest from a totally unique prospective - aboard an Amphibious World War II Army Duck vehicle.  Your knowledgable Captain will identify and explain the flora/fauna and native wildlife as you pass by, before splashing into the lake for a short cruise.

Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience

Learn about Aboriginal culture with this interactive experience.  Watch a traditional dance and join on the Dreamtime Walk.  Try your hand at boomerang throwing, observe spear throwing and didgeridoo playing.

Koala and Wildlife Park

Covered boardwalks provide excellent viewing of native Australian animals including crocodiles, wombats, dingoes, snakes, lizards, spotted-tail quoll and the cassowary.  Handfeed kangaroos and wallabies.

Tropical BBQ Lunch

Enjoy the delicious BBQ Buffet Lunch including soup, bread rolls, steak, chicken, noodles, vegetables, potatoes and a wide selection of salads, cheeses and tropical fruits.

Entry into the Australian Butterfly Sancuary is also included in your day.
