Quad Biking:

Located at the top of a mountain in World Heritage Listed rainforest where resident cassowaries inhabit the property. In addition, the property has a rich pioneer history, plus a tropical fruit orchard with over 600 trees inclusive of durian, rambutan, lychee, mangosteen, banana, granadilla, grumichama, jaboticaba, jackfruit, longon, mandarin, mango, marang, papaya, passionfruit, pulusan and miracle fruit (changes a sour flavour to a sweet flavour in the mouth). Rainforest Stand Up Paddle Board:

If you’re up for an adventure, grab a paddle and go exploring in Far North Queensland’s beautiful Kuranda Rainforest. Whether you consider yourself a pro stand up paddle boarder or you’ve never tried SUP boarding, this guided tour is perfect for anyone keen to get on the water. There will be a short introduction to paddle boarding on the water and then once everyone is comfortable, the adventure begins. Minimum age 8 years.

Rainforestation Nature Park:

The award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park is situated five minutes from Kuranda Village. Board an amphibious World War II Army Duck for a unique rainforest tour on both land and water, where your guide will identify and explain fascinating plants and wildlife as you pass by.

Learn about indigenous culture with the interactive Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. Watch a traditional dance performance in a rainforest amphitheatre, then join the Dreamtime Walk which includes boomerang throwing, spear-throwing and the didgeridoo.

The Koala and Wildlife Park has native Australian species such as crocodiles, wombats, dingoes, snakes, lizards, and the cassowary. Handfeed kangaroos and wallabies, or have your photo taken with a cute koala (optional extra cost).

Over 2100 metres of boardwalks and pathways allow you to discover this innovative wildlife park. There is also a huge lagoon on which you can enjoy a boat cruise to see crocodiles lunge out of the water during pole feeding sessions and see a live demonstration of the crocodile death role! although the focus of the park is on crocodiles, there is plenty of other Australian wildlife to see such as snakes, reptiles, birdlife, koalas and kangaroos.
