Enjoy a full day touring the magnificent Atherton Tablelands whilst tasting the best produce and visiting unique locations. Some of which no other tours visit. Benefit from your guides wealth of knowledge whilst sampling alcohol, cheese, chocolates, nuts and tropical fruits.


  1. Sunset Ridge Farm (private property - exclusive to our tour) is a fmaily owned and run business with a passion for Australian native plants and fruits such as Davidson Plum and Lemon Aspen. Here we get to try a variety of homemade breakfast treats made from their fruits.
  2. Rainforest Bounty - Next stop we are heading to the scenic outskirts of the Historic rural town of Malanda to a private property to taste Gallo Cheeses with their signature condiments utilising locally grown Davidson (Ooray) plum, lemon aspen (rainforest citrus), lillypilly (rainforest berries) and rainforest (Boonjie) tamarind in traditional artisanal recipes infused with the unique qualities of Australian rainforest fruits. We also get to taste some organic local small goods and a native fruit cocktail whilst overlooking the delightful Johnston River from their River Pavilion.
  3. The Australian Pltypus Park at Tarzali Lakes - Home of the wonderful platypus where you can sit in the tranquil surrounds and spot these elusive creatures.  This is also a great place to enjoy flavoured handcrafted smoked products that are all processed in-house.  Using native herbs and spices and fresh quality ingredients whcih include crocodile, red claw and kangaroo.
  4. Gallo Dairyland Cheese & Chocolate Factory to sample locally made produce and if at the right time watch the production process. Even the milk is sourced from their own farm.
  5. The Humpy is located within the Atherton township region and is a hub of locally made jams, chutneys, sauces, dried fruits and flavoured nuts. Those intolerant to gluten will find a multitude of delicacies to enjoy here.
  6. Mt Uncle Distillery is a working coffee and banana platation with onsite restaurant and functions venue. Their meals are made onsite with ingredients grown on their own land or sourced from the immediate region. Sample their award winning liqueurs, spirits and newly added boutique beer. The restaurant is cosy and welcoming, with a full wall length window to view onto their gardens filled with peacocks, geese and much more.
  7. Debrueys Boutique Tropical Winery situated on 15 hectares of mango farm. All ports, fruit wines, liqueurs and cream liqueurs are made onsite.
  8. Jaques Family Coffee Plantation is a family owned and operated arabica coffee plantation. Enjoy watching the history of the trials and tribulations of this 3rd generation farming family in their air conditioned on site theatre. Discover the growing to roasting and blending processes whilst enjoying a hot drop and homemade scones with jam and cream.
  9. Lunch, and 'tastings' of beer, wine, cheeses, chocolate, coffee and fruit.

Important Notes: Children are not catered for as this is an adults only tour, bring a warm jacket in winter as you travel over 300m above sea level & it gets a lot cooler at elevation. Lactose and gluten intolerances can be accommodated if advised in advance and bring cash or credit cards for any additional optional purchases.
