The journey also includes a scenic drive through Innisfail to view its historic Art Deco architecture, a visit to the stunning Babinda Boulders for time to relax or swim in a pristine rainforest setting, and a stop at Etty Bay, where you may have the chance to spot cassowaries along the beach in their natural habitat.

Itinerary:
Travel south into the stunning Wooroonooran National Park, where your local guide shares stories, history, and insights along the way. Pass through banana and sugar cane country before stopping in Babinda for a chance to try local treats, then visit Babinda Boulders to relax or swim in crystal-clear rainforest waters. Continue through Innisfail and its historic Art Deco streetscapes before entering cassowary country.
At Etty Bay, enjoy afternoon tea on the beach and free time to relax while keeping watch for the elusive cassowary.
Arrive at Paronella Park for a guided tour of the castle ruins and rainforest gardens, with optional exploration of the hydroelectric plant and museum. Cross the suspension bridge over Mena Creek Falls before heading to Mena Creek Hotel for dinner.
Return to Paronella Park for the night experience, including the Darkness Falls tour, illuminated ruins, and a light show, before finishing with a final stop under the Queensland night sky on the return journey.
