Throughout the day, enjoy a variety of tastings including coffee, chocolate, cheese, fresh fruit, premium spirits, and liqueurs, while exploring volcanic crater lakes, waterfalls, rainforest edges, and sweeping mountain scenery.

Begin with a visit to Kuranda and the Barron Falls Gorge before leaving the rainforest behind and heading to Skybury Plantation for coffee and papaya tastings. Continue to Granite Gorge, where you can hand-feed rare rock wallabies and explore unique granite boulder formations. Next, visit Mt Uncle Distillery to sample locally crafted gins, rums, vodkas, and liqueurs made using native botanicals.

Stop at Gallo Dairyland for a light lunch along with artisan cheeses and handmade chocolates, then continue on to the iconic Curtain Fig Tree and the volcanic Bromfield Crater for sightseeing, photography, and birdwatching opportunities. Visit the historic town of Malanda before arriving at Millaa Millaa Falls, one of the region’s most photographed waterfalls.

Finish the day at Crater Lakes National Park, where you can enjoy a swim, short walks, or simply relax in the peaceful surrounds. Return to Cairns via the scenic Gillies Range, passing Walsh’s Pyramid, and arrive back around 5:30pm.
