This large stable catamaran departs Port Douglas and travels to an Outer Barrier Reef Pontoon on Agincourt Reef. This is the only pontoon product out of Port Douglas making it viable for groups who want to visit the Great Barrier Reef that may want options other than snorkelling.

This vessel travels with large numbers and moores against a fixed pontoon on the outer reef. This stable surface is a great option for anyone prone to seasickness as it does not ‘bob' on the ocean, eating your meals is comfortable and other than snorkelling you can do a semi-submersible coral viewing tour, visit the underwater marine observatory and chat with the onboard marine biologist.

This is a great trip for families or those travelling with young children or the elderly as it has the extra facilities and activities to keep everyone entertained.  This is a shorter day than most other Outer Barrier Reef tours as it has a late morning departure of 10.00am and provides 3 1/2 hours at the poontoon.

For people who are mobility impaired this pontoon is the most disability friendly with easy access for wheelchairs and an electric hoist to assist people to be lowered into the water. One can either stay in the hoist and enjoy partial participation or move into flotation devices to enjoy full participation.

Morning/afternoon tea, full buffet lunch and snorkel equipment is provided.

Optional activities at an additional charge are: introductory/certified scuba diving, helmet walker, helicopter tours and guided snorkel tours.

Please note all helicopters have a weight restriction protocol - read carefully:

Weight protocol has two components:

a) 10% weight variance from advised; and

b) Exceeding a certain weight limit

Weight Variance:

Passengers are allowed a weight variance of up to 10% over original recorded weight. Should this variance be found to be more than 10%, the company reserves the right to charge an additional fee. No refund will apply.
This fee comes into effect when a guest weighs in 10% heavier than advised and results in us having to use a bigger helicopter or put up additional flights.
The dollar amount of this fee is not specified, as it will be circumstantial to covering our additional incurred costs.

Weight limit:

Any passenger who weighs over 110kg will need to purchase an additional seat, which will be charged at 50% of the fare rate and payable directly to Nautilus Aviation on the day of travel.
This is to ensure we don't exceed individual helicopter seat limits and that we do task the appropriate helicopter for the job; and for the comfort of all guests travelling.
Please ensure Nautilus is aware of any booking over 110kg, as we will need to close a seat on the appropriate flight template.
The fee may be waived on the day should we happen have a vacant seat on the helicopter anyway.
