Sunrise Kayak Turtle Tour 6am – 9am

The Sunrise Kayak Turtle Tour is the perfect way to experience the Inner Great Barrier Reef Lagoon.

First off, we paddle over to Double Island Reef. This usually takes 20 - 30 minutes. First stop is our famous turtle sport, where most of the time green turtles and hawksbill turtles are there to greet us.
After this we explore the mangroves by kayak or head around to the north side of Double Island for more adventure. We then pull up on the Double Island, where we go swimming and explore the island

We finish off by paddling into Buchan's Beach if the wind gets up, or if it's calm we head back to Palm Cove.

Here is just some of the wildlife we most often see on the tour: Eagle rays, Shovel nose sharks, Mangrove Rays, Sea Turtles and Bird Life.

Are you up for an extraordinary adventure? Embark on our Kayak Turtle Tour. Get up close and personal with the mesmerising Inner Great Barrier Reef.

Our journey starts from the vibrant Palm Cove Beach and leads us to the serene shores of Double Island. With captivating mangroves, vibrant coral reefs, and an intriguing cave (subject to conditions), the island promises a day packed with wonder.

After a steady 30 minute paddle to the Double Island reef, the real exploration begins. Regular marine sightings include: Eagle rays, Shovel nose sharks, Blue spotted lagoon rays, Colorful fish, Green Sea Turtles and White Belly Sea Eagles.
