Taste of the Daintree

The Daintree Sensations rainforest food adventure is a scrumptious farm gate tour like no other. It was born from the passion of local farmers, wanting to showcase their fabulous produce with visitors to the region. It's a full day bus tour, with numbers limited to a maximum of just 10 guests, to ensure the time and space is provided for maximum engagement and enjoyment. Pick-ups and drop-offs are from Port Douglas and one of our professional guides is with you the whole time, to provide further insight into the people, places and produce you will experience during your Daintree Sensations tour.

The exclusive Daintree Sensations bus tour takes you to explore the hidden treasures of this beautiful, bountiful region. You'll visit private properties, meet local growers and farmers, and sample their award-winning produce.

This indulgent tasting tour includes:

-The Australian Chocolate Farm, where you'll learn the process of transforming bean to bar, to decadent sweet treat.

-Scomazzons Fruit Farm and Store, where you'll see hand harvesting, before sampling some seasonal, exotic tropical fruits.

-The Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm. Here you'll reel into a scrumptious and sustainable supply of Australia's iconic saltwater barramundi. We take you on an exclusive farm tour and then you'll feast on a gourmet tasting platter.

-Cassowary Falls; A pristine waterfall surrounded by rainforest on a private property, in the Daintree Valley. Refresh and revive with a swim (so bring your towels) and delight your palate with our signature Tastes of the Daintree artisan grazing board.
