Day 1: Check into your dorm accommodation and enjoy a free afternoon in Cairns city – we suggest taking a dip at the local Cairns Lagoon or visiting the local botanical gardens and taking in the night markets before dinner.

Day 2: Visit the Great Barrier Reef on modern catamaran. You will have 4 hours at the Great Barrier Reef to view spectacular coral formations and abundant colourful marine life. Snorkel gear, morning/afternoon tea and buffet lunch is included.

Day 3: Visit Kuranda "The Village in the Rainforest" and see the famous markets. You will travel via the award winning Skyrail and return on the scenic train. Your package includes a bus pick up from your Cairns hotel, one-way skyrail ticket to Kuranda and one way train ticket back to Cairns city.

Day 4: Today you will head north to Cape Tribulation where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the Great Barrier Reef. Commence the adventure with a scenic coastal drive from Cairns to Port Douglas. This is the far north’s very own great ocean road that provides panoramic views over the sparkling Coral Sea.

Our next stop is Mossman gorge with its crystal clear rock pools and breathtaking tropical surroundings, a swim in the clear crisp water will have you feeling reinvigorated and refreshed like never before!

Your day will also include a wildlife and crocodile spotting cruise - seeing these ancient creatures on the mighty Daintree river is incredible. As low tide gives us the best chance to spot crocs our day revolves around the tides. This means that on some days we stop in Port Douglas in the morning and others in the afternoon.

Day 5: Discover the Wet Tropical rainforests of the Atherton Tablelands and Wooroonooran National Park; visiting must-see attractions including Lake Eacham, Milla Milla Falls, Josephine Falls, the Curtain Fig Tree and Mount Hypipamee & The Crater

Travel with accredited, expert guides that give insights into this unique part of the world, including its Aboriginal cultural history and ancient plant and animal life. Lunch and morning tea included.

Day 6: Check out of your hostel.
